National Clean-Up Month

This September, we celebrate National Clean-Up Month. It’s the time when people are reminded to take care of our environment by keeping it clean and safe. Simple actions like joining clean-up drives, throwing garbage properly, and reducing waste can already make a big difference. As students, we can also help by starting with small steps in our school and community.

This photo shows me helping remove vines growing near the highway. Even though they looked small, they could make the place messy and unsafe. By cleaning them up, the area looked more neat and pleasant for people passing by.

                 Highway Clean-Up Drive

Last weekend, I joined a highway clean-up drive in our community. We picked up plastic bottles, candy wrappers, and other trash scattered along the road. At first, it felt tiring because of the heat, but I realized that helping clean the highway makes a big difference. Seeing the road cleaner after our effort gave me a sense of pride, and it also reminded me that small actions can lead to a healthier environment.

I also helped clean along the highway. By sweeping up trash, I am doing my part to make the surroundings cleaner and safer for everyone who passes by.

Doing these small clean-up tasks made me realize that even simple actions can make a difference. If everyone helps, our community can be cleaner, safer, and more beautiful.
