Reflection on My First Quarter in ICT
However, I also experienced challenges. One of the hardest parts for me was memorizing the timeline of the internet. Sometimes I would forget which event happened first or mix up the years. Another challenge was the acronyms, since there were many of them, and they all sounded similar at first. I also found it difficult to balance studying ICT with my other subjects, especially when quizzes and projects came at the same time.
To solve these problems, I tried to make simple notes and reviewers. For the acronyms, I made easy to remember meanings so that I could recall them faster. I also asked help from my classmates and checked online videos that explained the lessons in a simple way. Studying little by little instead of cramming also helped me remember more.
Moving forward, I will try to be more consistent in reviewing my lessons. I also want to connect the topics to real-life examples, so it will be easier for me to understand. For example, when we talk about URLs, I will practice by looking at the ones I use every day. I will also improve my time management so that I can handle ICT lessons and my other subjects better.
Overall, my experience in ICT this quarter taught me not only about the internet but also about how to study smarter. I faced some challenges, but I was able to find ways to overcome them. I believe that in the next quarters, I can do even better if I continue to practice and learn step by step.
